How to : Refresh publication date 📅

Google likes fresh content. Refreshing the publish date in Wordpress is an easy win to give your content a small boost in organic results.

This is the field we are talking about with publication date.

⚠️⚠️⚠️ When you refresh this date, it should never be in the future : otherwise your article will be drafted ! And redirecting to the homepage of the website.

For example :

  1. today is the 23rd of July
  1. I can edit the date of previous example (Jul 20) to Jul 21, Jul 22, or Jul 23 (if you setup to today's date, make sure the hour/minute you choose is setup BEFORE the moment you're editing).
